Meet The Teams

Driving our flagship 60^th Anniversary liveried vehicle Jamie, Arron & Ben have racked up over 26 years’ service between them. Citing skills in dismantling and reassembling customers furniture, export packing, excellent customer service and loading the vehicle to within an inch of it’s life, Team Leader Arron recalls ‘I was awesome at Tetris as a kid!’. As if being on his feet all day isn’t enough, you will find Arron at the gym after work. He was once unable to walk for a time which makes him Superman in our opinion!

Jamie is petrified of spiders so please don’t ask him to go into your shed!

Away from work Jamie is a keen golfer and a huge F1 fan – he once spent the day with Lewis Hamilton!

Ben has a love of Elvis Priesley and enjoys a visit to his local Nando’s at least 3 times a week!

Arron’s top moving tip – if you are taking plants in pots with you, don’t water them just before the move!

What a team! With over 28 years’ service between them, Dean, Paul & Bailey have a long list of skills including proactive thinking, white glove service, furniture protection and problem solving.

Team Leader Dean, who began his removals career with us at the age of 16, is proud that so many of our customers come back to us again and again. They even ask for him by name!

Paul is the joker and is great at impersonations! He loves nothing more than making his customers laugh ‘It really helps ease their stress’

Dean & Paul are both football lovers, with Dean a volunteer coach for his local under 12 Girls’ football team.

All are family men and tell us their favourite pastimes are spending time at home with their families.

Bailey is coming to the end of his first year with us and is thoroughly enjoying training with his team. He is very into his rave & techno music and has even moved a couple of his favourite DJ’s during his time with us!

Dean’s top moving tip – Don’t pack the kettle!!

You're bound to have a great day with AJ, Bradley & Kaden! They always take the stress away from move day as they are such fun to have around! Bradley recalls helping a customer round up their chickens on one occasion! Don’t be fooled into thinking that’s all they have in their locker though, Team Leader AJ is one of our longest serving members of staff and is not only a pro at house moves but he and his team are also our office moving experts.

Away from work AJ loves travelling and once swam with pigs in Antigua! You may also find him at a Spurs match, but it’s probably best not to mention that!

Bradley enjoys the variety of our industry as each day is different. He loves meeting new people and settling them into their new home.

Kaden is the newest member of the team and our Rising Star – removals run in his family with his Dad, Uncle & Cousin all working for Stephens. Removals was always his destiny!

AJ’s top moving tip: if undertaking your own packing it’s best to use Stephens boxes – can save you a fortune in the long run!

Garry has the longest length of service of all our team members with a whopping 30 years! He is an amazing Team Leader to Mark, his nephew and Mason, his grandson. It really is a family affair!

If there is anything you don’t know about removals Garry has the answer. He is something of a practical joker and very much loves playful pranks on his colleagues! Liverpool Football Club is his other passion, and his colleagues very much enjoy winding him up about that in return!

Mark has a heart of gold and will do anything for anybody, in turn his customers love him! His interests include conspiracy theories, which he will tell you all about if you ask him. What are your views on the Earth being flat?!

Mason has been in training with us for over 2 years now and is proving to be a natural! Always polite and smiling, nothing is too much trouble. An interesting fact about Mason is that he can turn his eyelids inside out, always a good party trick!
